Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Are any of the plans for the models for sale?

No, Pat Acton made all drawings and plans specifically for the models on display at the Matchstick Marvels museum.  None of them are for sale.

2. Where can I buy matchsticks?

Matchsticks without the sulfur tips can only be purchased in bulk quantities at a minimum of $500.00 from the manufacturer.  Acton suggests you buy small boxes from a retail store and cut off the sulfur tips, as he did for years. Craft sticks, which are similar, can be purchased at hobby stores. These sticks are longer and thinner than matchsticks, but can be used in the same fashion.
