Fun Fact: After Ripley’s Believe It or Not commissioned a diorama of Back to the Future‘s town square, one of Patrick’s challenges was making realistic leaves on trees. He decided to use matchstick shavings on the branches. His first completed tree seemed perfect; however, when Ripley’s requested he downscale the diorama for space in their museum, that first tree was unusable. It is now on display at Matchstick Marvels.
