The Gladbrook Theater is open each Friday through Wednesday night with a movie showing at 7:30 P.M.  There is also a Saturday matinee at 3:15 P.M., and a Sunday matinee at 1:30 P.M.  Opening night for each new movie is Friday.  Enjoy the large movie screen and DTS Dolby Digital sound.  Seating capacity is 205 seats, including accommodations for persons with disabilities.

Gladbrook Theater features a low $1.00 admission price, a full line of concessions including ice cream, and spacious lobby with dining area.   Movies typically run within 3-5 weeks of their debut.  Volunteers operate the box office and concession stand, which keeps your costs low.

Gladbrook Theater is located at 319 Second Street, in downtown Gladbrook.  The facility opened May 30, 2003.   The theater is part of the Gladbrook City Centre complex containing the Matchstick Marvels Tourist Center, Gladbrook City Hall, and a multi-purpose exhibit hall that is used during Corn Carnival and other functions.  The new Gladbrook Community Museum, housed upstairs in the City Centre, opened in July, 2005, and contains thousands of artifacts representing Gladbrook's past and present.  The theater section of the Center is also designed for live theatrical productions, seminars, and multi-media presentations.
